Ramin Zaghi - Co-Founder and General Advisor to the Board
Ramin is the founder and co-organiser of the Cambridge Game Creators Network, a network of professionals and hobbyists who share an interest in all applications and technologies of computer graphics. He has an extensive background in Software Development and has worked within the video games and the semiconductor industries in the UK.
Lautaro Vargas - Co-Founder and Managing Director
Lautaro is a technology journalist. He edits Cabume, a news website dedicated to Cambridge's entrepreneurial technology and medtech community. Lautaro is the founding director of East Tech Media Ltd, the company behind Mosaic3DX.
Mandy Knapp - Creative Industries Advisor to the Board
Mandy Knapp is co-founder of the Cambridge Creative Network. She is passionate about the arts, and is herself a printmaker. She relishes bringing together artists and creatives from different disciplines for interesting collaborations. Karen Jinks - Creative Industries Advisor to the Board
Karen is a professional mixed media artist and designer, providing marketing services for small creative businesses. She is the founder of www.ukhandmade.co.uk, an online magazine that promotes artists, designers, and makers across the UK. She is co-founder of the Cambridge Creative Network, a network and website with regular networking events and occasional exhibitions providing support and advice for Cambridge based creatives.
Mark Hayes - Academic Advisor to the Board
Mark graduated with a degree in Mathematics from Cambridge University in 1995 and has worked in scientific computing since then. He was the first technical hire at Electronic Share Information Ltd (later E*Trade UK), the first UK website to distribute realtime share prices and financial news. He spent 3 years in the European Bioinformatics Institute's Systems Group and has led the IT management and research activities of the Cambridge eScience Centre since 2001.
Bob Westrip - Business Advisor to the Board
Bob worked in branch banking and Large Corporate Division of Barclays for 32 years, looking after multi national companies. During the 1990s recession, among other activities he led the successful reconstruction of the hotel group Queens Moat Houses for all of its lenders. Since 2000, he has been running his own business which is involved in business consultancy providing advice to many SME businesses. Bob has been as an advisor to in excess of 50 Social Enterprises.
Roja Zandi - Public Relations and Communications Manager
Roja completed her degree in Software Engineering and joined Santander in 2007 to pursue her career in the banking sector. She is now an experienced finance and mortgage advisor working across multiple branches in the City of London and other areas in the UK. She is in charge of our Public Relations and Communications, and provides valuable input to the team.
